Before you begin
blogging, decide how much or how little about yourself you are
comfortable with disclosing. Bloggers have lost friends and lost
jobs over things they revealed in their blogs.
Stay on topic -
stick to your niche.
Don't say anything
unless you’re willing to back it up. People are sure to
challenge you on it.
Interact with your
readers.
It pays to be
polite. Being arrogant and rude might seem fun for a while, but
many readers will be turned off.
Use keywords in
your posts. If you carefully include popular and relevant
keyword combinations in your posts, your blog will rank higher
at search engines for those terms.
Always make
backups of your blog. You don’t want to lose everything you've
done!
